Wymagania wstępne w zakresie wiedzy, umiejętności i innych kompetencji (jeśli dotyczy przedmiotu)
Cele przedmiotu
			| 1 | As a result of the training, the trainee should acquire knowledge in the following areas:
the main regularities of the atmosphere and ocean functioning and the interaction of both subsystems; measuring equipment used in meteorological observations at sea; rules for conducting meteorological and hydrological observations; weather forecast broadcasting systems; rules for the interpretation of hydrometeorological data (maps, bulletins, own observations) for the needs of navigation. |
			| 2 | As a result of the training, the trainee should acquire the following skills:
using measuring equipment (psychrometers, aneroids, anemometers, etc.); using observational scales; determining the true wind from the apparent wind; calculation of wind current parameters and wave elements; using psychrometric tables; carrying out a complete follow-up; Basic interpretation of weather bulletins and maps: weather, ice, wave, tropical analysis, as well as nautical publications (Routeing charts, Pilot charts, ALRS). |
