Cele przedmiotu

1 As a result of the training, the trainee should acquire knowledge in the following areas: operational parameters of ships, forms of ship operation, problems of organization of transport and documentation of transport, problems of cooperation between ship - port, port - shipowner, ship - service providers, organization and scope of duties of the port watch.
2 As a result of the training, the trainee should acquire the following skills: interpreting the ship's documentation, creating and interpreting documents related to transport, organizing work on the ship, organizing and keeping the port watch.
3 Transfer of knowledge about the operational parameters of ships, ship documentation, forms of ship operation, problems of organization of transport and documentation of transport and problems of cooperation ship - port, port - shipowner, ship - service providers; indications on applicable regulations, procedures and good sea practice in this respect

Efekty kształcenia dla całego przedmiotu (EKP) – po zakończeniu cyklu kształcenia

EKP1 Has a structured knowledge of the forms of commercial operation of the ship and the problems of organization of transport.
EKP2 Has structured knowledge in the field of ship documentation in various types of navigation and their legal aspects in the carriage of cargo.
EKP3 He is able to interpret the clauses of cargo documents and assess their suitability for the most effective and proper commercial operation of ships.
EKP4 He can use knowledge to formulate and apply to solve practical problems related to the transport of cargo.
EKP5 He has international competences to keep documentation and communication in the field of ship management and cooperation between ship-port, port-shipowner, ship-service provider and crew management.
EKP6 He has knowledge of documents, certificates, books, logs and other ship. Knows and correctly interprets their content. He knows the rules for carrying out sea inspections and preparing the ship for them in terms of documentation.
EKP7 He knows the rules of organization of the crew of a sea-going ship, understands the rules of command and management of subordinate employees.
EKP8 He cooperates with the shipowner, agent and charterer in terms of the ship's budget. Uses the computer in economic calculations. Correctly interprets and applies in practice the principles of shipping economics in terms of costs, prices and freight receipts. Plans elements of the ship's budget.
EKP9 Is able to correctly interpret the provisions contained in conventions, resolutions and codes, effectively manage the safety of the ship by applying the instructions of the ISM Code, including the use of emergency procedures; take effective action in all conditions to ensure the safety of people, ship and cargo; effectively prepare the ship for Port State Control (PSC).
EKP10 Has basic knowledge of emergency procedures, muster lists, ship command procedures to ensure the safety of people, ship and cargo; He knows the basic legal acts - conventions, resolutions, codes and basic requirements resulting from them, the Safety Management Code (ISM) in relation to the ship and the shipowner, the scope and rules of conduct of the ship during the port state control (PSC).
